November Fitness Goals

I posted to instagram the other day about how this month has been going for me so far: a complete blur! I guess I would include the end of October as well.

Most months I try to think about a few things that I’m planning on accomplishing during the month, but like I said, BLUR! Super behind on everything and the house looks like it’s recently been ransacked 40% of the time (~Law and Order Aesthetic~) BUT life happens! And now is as good a time as any to sit down and make some plans for this month!

So, I’m here sharing my fitness & health goals for November today (well…what remains of November!).

First on the list: >>> Walking every day

Walking is SO good for you. Something about the air, the sun (or clouds, whatever) always make me feel calm and clear.

And walking is not only good for one’s mindset; walking is a GREAT form of exercise. It is low impact, good for posture, and almost anyone can do it, regardless of age or fitness level.

Walking indoors is also beneficial, but being outside is part of the joy of walking.

I like using Map My Run (you can use Map My Walk, which is the same as far as I can can tell) for walking so I can track and see how far I’ve gone, pace, make notes and so on.

It’s fun having friends that use it too; we cheer each other on.

I recommend this app, especially if you have friends that use it!


This is probably the most important of the goals; it doesn’t matter what sort of workouts you are doing, if you’re only doing them sporadically, you’re getting only a little benefit.

This is such a struggle for me lately. We’ve been staying at home for how many months now and I still don’t have a workout routine in place?! So I’m going to make that one of my goals for this month.

My two favorites: fit on app and barre

I’m a morning person (not like wake up at 5am morning person though!) so it’s best for me to get my workout in before I start on the rest of my tasks.

Since I know that is the most effective for me, it’s something I need to incorporate into my daily plans. Otherwise, I’ll just put it off and put it off, and there’s always something else that needs to be done.

So, developing and sticking to a routine that will keep me consistent in my workouts is a big one. Actually, I just set out my workout clothes for tomorrow, so that when I get up, I know right where they are and can get them on first thing!

Finally >>>> Drinking Water!!!!

I have no idea why it is so hard for me right now to remember to drink water during the day. It’s absolutely ridiculous

But change to one glass of water…

I’m sure once I’m actually mindful of this, it will become easier. And I think the thing for this is just to be mindful throughout the day. Like, right now, I need to drink water haha.

I’ve looked up apps that remind you to drink water, there are cute printable water trackers that I thought of printing, but for this one, I may just do the old sticky note on the mirror, which I think will be very effective….and not something that I’ll start using, forget I have it and then find it when we move in 20 years.

So that’s it; I have made a list of three achievable and “trackable” goals for this month, keeping it easy is always good. What do you want to do this month?
