As promised, here’s another post from waaay back when I first started to blog in 2014. This was my very first post, starting with an introduction to the blog, which was called “The Roscoes Do”, and then sharing our recent trip to SF. Hope you enjoy!
AUGUST 19 2014:
An introduction:
This blog is a sort of “life and times” of the Roscoes. These Roscoes are specifically Glen Philip and Michelle Renee. As these Roscoes aren’t necessarily known for being the best at keeping in touch with family and friends, a blog of various updates and so on seemed like a decent enough solution. Thanks for checking in, and hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
Michelle
THE ROSCOES DO: SAN FRANCISCO
While NYC is muggy, hot, and horribly humid this time of year, San Francisco is a cool 65 F – nice change of pace! This is the 3rd day here, and the plan is to wander about.

One Roscoe packed appropriately, while one did not. One Roscoe will be a bit chilly today. Can you guess which Roscoe that is? I’ll give you a hint: her name is not Glen.

Yesterday, we stopped in a bookstore in the ferry terminal, and got lots of ideas of books to add to the ever growing reading list; hopefully we will have lots of time to lounge around and read over the next few days.
Here are a few of the books that sounded interesting:
The Great War – Joe Sacco
Stealing Sugar from the Castle – Robert Bly
Painting Your Way Out of a Corner – Barbara Diane Barry
The Missing Ink – Philip Hensher
Until next time…
Xx
