For the first several days we were in London and then in France. You have to walk everywhere (literally HAD to because of a tube & train strike in London) so each day, I got in at least 15k steps, if not more!
Now that we are going to be more in the countryside, I want to make sure I’m still getting exercise in. As Dad says, “failing to plan is planning to fail” so I’m choosing what I’ll be doing each day ahead of time.

I’m sharing here my plan for the next 5 days – these will be hotel friendly workouts, so low impact (or no impact, even better). And most that I am choosing are 15 minutes long, I still do plan on walking, but I will certainly not be walking as much as I was in the city! This month, my goal was to exercise 5 days a week for 30 minutes per workout, so between a 15 minute walk and a 15 minute workout I’m set!
For at-home workouts, my go-to is Fit On (you can find my previous post with fiton review here: https://travelfoodfit.com/2021/11/05/fit-on-app-review/) but I’m also going to throw in some Blogilates and Kayla Itsines.
Here are the 5 days we have remaining, and the workouts I plan on doing for each day.

Sunday June 26 – ARMS blogilates: 15 minute — 10 minute – I love doing blogilates videos because they are short and sweet. I don’t get bored and I also add on sometimes, sometimes I don’t, but it doesn’t feel so long since they are broken up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y346900i9qE
It’s just 10 moves, and all without any weights or equipment! Casey Ho never does “easy” workouts, and this is a video I have done before so I KNOW I’ll get a good burn in 15 minutes!

Monday June 27 – FIT ON – BARRE – I definitely want to get in a barre workout, and I haven’t done this one before, but it is once again 15 minutes long, and no equipment. To find it, search Barre Pulse on the app. I haven’t done this one before, but I really like the instructor and I for sure wanted to get barre in!

Tuesday June 28 – Kayla Itsines FULL BODY – BBG workouts by Kayla Itsines are crazy intense! Waaaaaay back in the day I bought her 12 week program…it was in PDF form…I printed the entire thing. These days you can get her app called Sweat. I did use this for a bit, but you it’s paid, and I don’t love that since FitOn is free, so I stopped using it. You can find free workouts from Kayla on Youtube, this one is from Pop Sugar, here’s the link to her Free 15 minute Low Impact Workout : https://youtu.be/GxOt2bwKxkk

Wednesday June 29 – UPPER BODY – Another from FitOn! this is another video I have done already. It’s so good, I don’t have great form doing planks so for the push-ups and high plank moves I modify to knees. I think it’s great to get in some core work…at the very least it reminds me to work on my posture. In the app, search for Arms & Back Attack.

Thursday June 30 – Blogilates – LEG DAY – Leg Day is my favorite day, and I’ve once again picked Blogilates because it’s hotel friendly, no equipment, low impact. This one focuses specifically on thighs, and it’s one I haven’t done before so….bring on the pain train! Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/9cxmi_JBe_M

Also I’m not sure if this is called Blogilates or Pop Pilates but either way Casey’s workouts are great!
I know I won’t burn nearly as many calories as I did when we were walking around all day, but I’m really just focusing on being somewhat active. Especially since my goal was to get in 30 minutes of exercise for 5 days a week in June!
Do you think you’ll try these workouts? Comment to let me know!
